Funded by EFF, Seafish, SWRDA and DEFRA the project aims to engage Fishermen, Merchants, Processors and Selling Agents to ensure that all sectors of the SW Seafood Industry maximise the quality and value of all fish and shellfish landed.
We aim to assist and provide support to local seafood business and industry and to help achieve this regular steering group meetings are held throughout the year.

The Responsible Fishing Scheme has been developed to raise standards in the catching sector, enabling those within the seafood supply chain to demonstrate their commitment to the responsible sourcing of seafood. The aim is that, over time, accreditation will become a condition of supply.
